In a world of changing environmental conditions, sustainable and effective urban adaptation strate-gies are increasingly crucial. Developing these strategies requires accessible technical solutions that support informed decision-making for city planning. Key capabilities include the acquisition, management, processing, and presentation of application-specific geodata.Anyone interested in or working in tangible solutions to improve the habitability of cities under cli-mate change is welcome to CityCLIM’s final stakeholder workshop. In this workshop we will pre-sent the advanced prototypes of the CityCLIM services which were developed to support citizens and city administration in coping with urban heat and pollution:

  • Climate Information Services: Information on heat waves and pollution for the next 2 days based on a 100m-resolution advanced weather model

  • Identification Services: Identification of Urban Heat Islands, City Air Flow and Pollution Area

  • Simulation and Mitigation Strategies Services: Services focussing on urban heat, air flow and pollution where users can simulate own scenarios

  • Citizen Weather Sensation Service: a map view where users indicate their comfort tempera-ture ranges to identify comfortable places in the city

Up-to-date information on the workshop can be found here on the website. If you have any ques-tions about the workshop or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact us at cityclim@ohb.de.
